Antarctica

Situated completely inside the Antarctic Circle and encircled by the Southern Ocean, Antarctica is the southernmost continent on Earth. With a total area of roughly 14 million square kilometers, it is the fifth largest continent. The world's coldest, driest, windiest continent, Antarctica is renowned for its hostile and extreme climate. Antarctica is home to a wide range of animals, such as seabirds, seals, and penguins, despite its severe environment.
