Africa

With a land size of over 30.37 million square kilometers, Africa is the second largest continent in the world. The Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Indian Ocean to the east, and the Red Sea to the northeast encircle the region, which is primarily in the Eastern Hemisphere. Africa is renowned for its variety of landscapes, which include the enormous Sahara Desert, the lush Central and East African rainforests, and the continent's savannas. With thousands of different languages spoken in its 54 countries, the continent is home to a wide variety of cultures, languages, and ethnic groups. Some of the world's earliest civilizations, including Ancient Egypt, had their beginnings in Africa, which has a rich historical background.
